Problem :
The brand LA•OIL faced a major challenge: its previous advertising lacked visual impact and emotional connection. The content failed to capture the viewer’s attention or stand out among competitors in the beauty industry. Despite having a high-quality product, the brand’s communication didn’t spark curiosity or desire in its target audience — resulting in low engagement and weak conversion from potential clients.

Description:
For the premium haircare brand LA•OIL, I produced a high-impact commercial focused on elegance, sensuality, and nature. The concept was built around the idea of “natural luxury”, symbolizing transformation and confidence through the visual presence of real snakes — representing rebirth and authenticity.
The project involved creative direction, video recording, lighting design, and post-production editing, capturing both macro and cinematic shots of the product interacting with the snakes’ textures and movements.
The final video emphasizes the product’s golden tones and premium aesthetic, merging beauty, danger, and sophistication into a captivating visual experience that enhances brand identity and audience connection.
Main tasks:
✅ Creative concept and moodboard development
✅ Direction and filming with real snakes in controlled setup
✅ Lighting and composition for product highlights
✅ Video editing, color grading, and motion refinement
✅ Final export for social media and advertising use
Result:
A visually striking commercial that positions LA•OIL as a bold, elegant, and memorable beauty brand, aligning natural elements with high-end design and visual storytelling.



Challenge :
The greatest challenge of this production was working with real snakes — creatures that naturally evoke fear and caution in humans. Despite being domesticated, healthy, and handled in a completely safe and controlled environment, the psychological tension of filming with live animals required patience, respect, and precision.
Beyond the visual concept, the true challenge was maintaining animal safety and ethical responsibility, while ensuring the snakes’ movements complemented the product in a natural and aesthetic way. This balance between creative vision and ethical care became a defining element of the project’s authenticity and impact.
